Internship Data Science & AI (full-time)

Job Description:

Are you a student or recent graduate with a passion for data science and AI, eager to apply this knowledge to create social impact? We are looking for a motivated intern to join us full-time in developing AI-driven solutions. In this role, you will work on improving our RAG solutions by improving the embedding models, further finetune new open-source LLM’s for text generation and applying these new models in applications for the public sector.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

There is a lot of room for freedom in the internship as improvement of our solutions can take on many different forms, some technical directions could for example be:

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of custom LLMs in RAG applications.
  • Contributing to the evaluation of LLMs and predictive models.
  • Contributing to the development of strict guardrails of production ready models.
  • Work on smarter chunking algorithms and interpretation of PDF documents.
  • Integrating user feedback loops in the UI and model training.
  • Conducting analyses for our clients.

 

Besides these technical tasks, the following responsibilities are also part of the internship:

  • Working in close collaboration with our clients.
  • Pitching new solutions/implementations to potential clients.
  • Delivering training sessions with clients, on for example prompt engineering.

 

Requirements:

  • Interest in social issues and motivation to create positive impact through data & AI.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Basic knowledge of Data Science and AI.
  • Analytical mindset, eager to learn, and quick to adopt new techniques.
  • Available for 4 or 5 days a week.
  • Your own laptop.
  • Bonus: Comprehension of LLMs and LLM based applications.
