Are you going to help us scale to 100,000 end users? Soev.ai is our sovereign AI platform. Organisations use it to work with sensitive data, to automate specific processes, and to build AI into the software they already use. If they want, it runs completely inside their own environment. We currently work with four ministries, several municipalities, a critical organisation in the energy sector, and much more.
Every use case is a trade-off between cost, performance and governance, and we give our clients control over that trade-off. That means we benchmark a lot, get small local models to beat proprietary ones on specific tasks, and spend a lot of time on everything around the model: retrieval, tooling and evaluation.
As a backend engineer with a feel for devops and AI, you build the core that keeps all of this scalable, robust and secure. The architecture, the services, the infrastructure underneath.
What you do
- Design and build scalable backend architecture that is robust, maintainable and secure.
- Ship software to production that is actually used, and that grows towards 100,000 end users.
- Stay sharp on edge cases and correctness, with a bias towards simplicity.
- Take part in the software team and the full development lifecycle.
- Work on the infrastructure underneath the platform: Kubernetes, Flux CD and CI/CD.
What you bring
- Experience designing and building scalable software architecture that is robust, maintainable and secure.
- A bias towards simplicity, and sharpness on edge cases and correctness.
- Experience bringing software to production that is genuinely used.
- Experience working in a software team and with the software development lifecycle.
